This was my first knit project, I got the pattern on YouTube https://youtu.be/IOBBDm7UfxE . I was very fascinated by the simplicity of the design. The scarf is one I would classify as a vintage design, it can be passed on from one generation to another . It is definitely a statement piece.
The Instruction are easy to follow and once you have mastered the design, one can easily customize it and add animal eyes and ears. Have one side longer then the other but still interlocking.
I do like written patterns and I do have a load of them, simply because I can easily refer to a pattern when I get confused with count in the stitches and also for inspiration. Others people prefer charts or Pictorial/ Video.
It will be year on 23/06/2020 since I made this post.
More often than not, one look’s back at a creation and will try to improve it to be more aesthetic to the eyes and possibly keep up with fashion trends. Be on the look out for a slight upgrade on the design and color work for the Bowtie Neck warmers.
