Custom made reusable shopping bags
The use of plastic bags as carrier bags, shopping bags was banned some time back by our government. This was a step in the right direction for a better and waste free environment.

With the ban on plastic bags is what led into my business adventure Last year June. I was looking for a bag I could carry everyday, that fits into my everyday handbag. The materials were sourced from within Kenya , with a variety of different colors to choose from. This started my little project and soon each bag became a unique piece and was loved by those who came into contact with them here in Kenya.
Finding an opportunity to grow this into an even more sustainable project has commenced . In addition to the upcycled bags were are now lining them with Ankara fabric to create a more aesthetically appealing bag not just for the market , supermarket or, beach but every day use. The Ankara fabric gives it a more African touch.
One way of giving back to the community is to donate part of our proceeds from the sale of each bag to a local charity that work directly with families in need.
